Mr. Prem Kumar Singhee serves OVAL as President – Business Development, a senior leadership position focused on the company's growth. He is entrusted with promoting and expanding OVAL's business at an important stage, as the company moves from a regional contractor to a listed national player with a stated "region-to-nation" strategy and a focus on winning quality contracts. This kind of mandate typically involves identifying and pursuing new opportunities in power-sector civil works, urban development and public infrastructure. It also involves building relationships with public-sector and government clients and supporting the company's bids for new work. His appointment is not tied to a single office: it allows for postings or deputation anywhere in India or abroad, wherever the company's business requires.

In this role, Mr. Singhee draws on his experience at BSBK and the Semco Group, spanning infrastructure, affordable housing and manufacturing. He works alongside OVAL's founder-led management team as the company expands beyond the North-East, and contributes to its growth agenda in the infrastructure sector. His role at OVAL is the latest chapter in a professional journey built around business development for established Indian engineering companies.

Mr. Prem Kumar Singhee served the Semco Group as President – Strategy and Business Development, a senior leadership position at the group's head office in New Delhi. The role combined strategy with growth: he was entrusted with promoting and expanding the company's business. This kind of mandate typically involves shaping the direction of growth, identifying new markets and opportunities, and building relationships with railway, industrial and international clients. His appointment also allowed for postings or deputation anywhere in India or abroad, which reflects the group's international reach.

In this role, Mr. Singhee built on the infrastructure experience he had gained at BSBK. He worked alongside the leadership of a group whose interests span heavy engineering and newer areas such as battery technology and robotics. He contributed to the group's strategic and growth agenda and gained valuable experience at the senior management level of a diversified Indian manufacturing group.

Mr. Prem Kumar Singhee served BSBK as President (Business Development), a senior leadership position based at the company's Corporate Office in New Delhi. He was entrusted with promoting and expanding the company's business. This is an outward-facing mandate that typically involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships with public and industrial clients, and representing the company in the national capital, where many of India's ministries, public-sector undertakings and infrastructure agencies are based.

In this role, Mr. Singhee was actively involved in BSBK's work under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the Government of India's "Housing for All" mission. PMAY housing was a major part of the company's business in this period. Using precast technology from its Naya Raipur facility, BSBK was building around 6,300 affordable homes, at a reported pace of about seven houses a day.

Working alongside BSBK's leadership as the company grew from steel-plant and municipal infrastructure into large-scale affordable housing, he contributed to its growth agenda. He also gained valuable senior-management experience in India's infrastructure sector.

Working in the family business gave him first-hand exposure to the energy sector, from rig operations and seismic services to the needs of India's national oil companies.

Wanting to broaden his experience, Mr. Singhee focused on growing the business internationally. He worked actively to build relationships and explore opportunities across the Middle East and West Asia. This work gave him an understanding of cross-border energy markets, varied business cultures and the patience needed to build lasting partnerships.

Those years shaped his professional outlook: respect for family values, learning on the ground, and a belief that Indian energy expertise can compete anywhere in the world.
