About Prem Kumar Singhee

Mr. Prem Kumar Singhee began his career in his family's oilfield services business, learning under his father, the late Shri Chiman Lal Singhee. The business grew into one of India's leading onshore drilling and exploration service providers. Working there gave him first-hand exposure to the energy sector, from rig operations and seismic services to the needs of India's national oil companies.

Wanting to broaden his experience, Mr. Singhee focused on growing the business internationally. He worked actively to build relationships and explore opportunities across the Middle East and West Asia. This work gave him an understanding of cross-border energy markets, varied business cultures and the patience needed to build lasting partnerships.

At BSBK Private Limited, a Bhilai-based civil engineering and construction company of the Beekay Group, Mr. Singhee served as President (Business Development) at the company's Corporate Office in New Delhi. He was entrusted with promoting and expanding the company's business and was actively involved in its affordable-housing work under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

He went on to serve as President – Strategy and Business Development with the Semco Group at Semco Forge Private Limited, the New Delhi group's forging company, known for railway wheel and axle sets and precision steel forgings.

Today he serves as President – Business Development at OVAL Projects Engineering Limited, where he is entrusted with promoting and expanding the company's business as it grows from its North-East base into a pan-India EPC contractor.

Across these roles, Mr. Singhee's experience spans oilfield services, civil engineering and construction, affordable housing, precision forging and manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure.

His work has involved building relationships with public-sector, industrial and international clients, representing companies in the national capital, and supporting growth agendas at established Indian engineering companies. His early international work across the Middle East and West Asia gave him experience of cross-border energy markets.

Mr. Singhee continues to draw on the experience of his early career, guided by the same values of family, integrity and perseverance that shaped it.

His years in the family business shaped his professional outlook: respect for family values, learning on the ground, and a belief that Indian energy expertise can compete anywhere in the world.
